The festival is for all ages. Twelve (12) years and younger are free.

Parking on-site is first come first serve and will cost $20. If you are not camping, you must save your parking pass for the following day or you will be charged again.

I want to bring my kids. Do they need tickets, too?
Children 12 and under can come to Reggae Roots FREE by adding a Kid’s Pass at checkout! We will have workshops and activities for children including bounce houses, face painters, and more too!
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and family camping is encouraged!
Here’s how to reserve their free entry:
If you’re reserving a general admission ticket, you’ll see an option to add free children’s tickets with your purchase. Please make sure to add one for every child 12 or under that you’re bringing with you.
What are the acceptable forms of ID?

Any US government-issued driver’s license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth

US or foreign government-issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth

Foreign government-issued driver’s license/ID with color photocopy of passport (not valid for 21+ wristband. To purchase alcohol or enter VIP areas, a physical passport or US ID will be required.
Where is the event going down and what is the parking situation at the venue?
Reggae Roots will be hosted at the beautiful Firebase Lloyd 474 Fleming Landing Rd, Townsend, DE
Parking availability is limited to 400 vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis and will cost $20 cash. We suggest reserving an Uber, Lift, or Taxi if you prefer not to drive or park on-site.
Parking along the main road is PROHIBITED. If you fail to comply to this request, your vehicle may be towed at the owner's expense.
Can I bring my pet?
We are sorry to say that we won't be allowing pets onto the property. If you have a registered service animal and are attending the event, you must show proper documentation to our medical and security staff at the front gate.
What is the bathroom situation?
We will have Porta-potties and handwashing stations on-site for all GA ticket holders.
What's up with security and first aid?
For the safety of everyone entering the festival, each person, their belongings, and their vehicle are subject to a security search upon entry. This may include a full-body pat-down before entry.
If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender identity, please let security personnel know prior to the search process.
Security will be searching for drugs, alcohol, firearms, and weapons of any kind.
Security personnel will be located around the property as well as roaming the festival grounds.
There will be a Medical/First Aid tent located near the main gate. In the event of an emergency or injury, find the nearest staff member and inform them immediately or navigate directly to the Medical tent for assistance.
Is outside alcohol permitted at the event?
No - outside alcohol cannot be brought into the event venue.
We will have multiple fully-stocked tiki bars available for festival guests. Plenty of Red Stripe Beer will be available for all.

What items are NOT permitted?
Fireworks, drugs, alcohol, weapons of any kind, pepper spray, outside food or beverages, speakers/sound equipment, laser pointers, spray paint, stickers, drones.

CAMPING FAQ
Can I bring my RV?
Due to limited space, RV camping availability is limited. Only 20 RV passes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to

Please Note: RV hookups (Water, electric, sewage) will not be available at the event venue.
What are the policies around campfires?
Firepits are NOT PERMITTED. There will be communal fire pits on-site for attendees, weather permitting.
How close is the camping area?
The camping area begins not too far from the Main Stage. We highly recommend that you bring earplugs if you plan to retire early and are sensitive to sound.
When do we have to leave?
All camping attendees must be packed up and out by 9:00 PM on Sunday, August 21st.
What items are NOT permitted?
Tents larger than a 6-person tent, firepits, grills*, canopies, cases of water*, fireworks, alcohol, speakers/sound equipment,
laser pointers, spray paint, drones/remote-controlled aircraft/toys, air horns, balls, frisbees,
* We are only allowing campers to bring in 2 unopened gallons of water per person. We suggest bringing a reusable water bottle to refill. Hot meals and water bottles will be for sale at the bars and vendor areas.
